This research proposal entitled the “Role and Importance of Internet Marketing Management in E-Commerce” is intended to examine the increasing role and importance of the application of the basic principles of Internet Marketing Management in the field of e-commerce. Specifically, this study aims to achieve the following identified objectives.Chaffey et. al. (2003) defines Internet Marketing as the use of Internet to achieve marketing objectives and support the modern marketing concept. Internet opens a world of opportunities to the organizations as well as customers. It gives customers a much wider choice of products, services and prices from various suppliers.Marketing has become of the vital aspects in business running. This is the method of communicating the worth of a service or a product to the customer by a producer or the seller with the main intention being selling the product or services. There are numerous types and forms of marketing.
Direct marketing has become an important part of many marketing communication programs for three reasons. First, the number of two-income households has increased dramatically. About six in every ten women in the United States work outside the home. This has reduced the amount of time families have for shopping trips.Marketing plays a more important role today than it ever did before in the past. This is because consumer’s tastes are continually changing. Organisations who ignore these changes suffer consequences of declining revenues and loss of customers. Companies that once were seen as icons are now struggling to for survival.
Importance of internet Today is the world of internet, No longer is it just a source of information but you can shop through the internet, pay your bills, plan your finances, avail online courses, find jobs, work from home, promote your business, reach to people etc.
